On our 25th Anniversary, Forty Acres is very happy to announce the return of The Old Ceremony to RambleRill Farm on Saturday, June 29! The Old Ceremony plays lush, literate rock. With fourteen years of touring the US, Canada and Europe and six albums under their belt, the band occupies its own darkly lit corner of the musical world. It is a corner filled with ominous rumblings and world-weary but hopeful characters. TOC’s multitalented artists are valuable additions to the vibrant Durham/Chapel Hill music scene, whether playing individually, in different combinations or teaming with other national and international artists. Together, their shows are exhilarating and transcendent. They’ve just finished their first full length album in nine years, to be released in October 2024. RambleRill Farm, a Certified Organic farm, is located at 913 Arthur Minnis Road, Hillsborough, NC on 28 acres of fields and forest. They grow organic fruits, vegetables, herbs and mushrooms and raise laying hens and goats. Farm gates open at 3 pm for exploring the beautiful organic farm, forest bathing, and picnicking in the shade. The music starts at 6 pm in the big red barn at the farm. Tickets are $25 and $30 at the door, if available. In the summer of 1999, Forty Acres began providing intimate listening venues for excellent artists before dedicated fans. Please come join us celebrating Forty Acres’ 25th anniversary.
